- Size first. To find the right size, measure around the rib cage just below the breasts. Round this up to the nearest half inch and then add four to it. You want to come close to an even number, so you may need to add five to it. Next, you want to find the cup size. To do this, measure the fullest part of your bust. Subtract your measurements from this and you have the cup size.
- Under wires give support. The under wire in your bra is what will support your breasts. Make sure that it is under your breasts, snuggly.
- The back of the bra should be level across your back. If it pulls up, you have on a bra that is too big for you. This can lead to back pain down the road. Take care of it too. Eventually, the bra will wear out. This happens and you need to take notice of it. If the elastic is no longer there, you need a new one. You should also wash it correctly, as directed. The best method for this is to wash them by hand with cold water.
