Other activities like gardening, dialing phone could also cause physical injuries to nails. If proper care is not being taken, it could lead to nail being brittle and look ugly.

The simplest way of taking care of nails is by using gloves. For this, one has to buy a well fitting gloves or else it becomes difficult to use it on a daily basis. Make sure gloves fit your hands well and are comfortable to wear. Do not wear gloves for more then half hour at a stretch as it could lead to further problems.

If it is necessary to wet your hands then make sure you rinse it well after the work. Drying your hands properly is a must for complete protection of hands. Some interesting facts about nail care:

  2. Nail grow faster in summer and monsoons.
  3. Keep the nail polish in refrigerator and it will last longer.
  4. Manicure should be done after bath as dirt from nails are washed off
  5. Nail polish remover should only be used once a week as it makes nail dry. Dry nails splits and cracks easily.
